It's well-known that here in Chile fashions are adapted and reinterpreted in ways that you couldn't have thought possible. But they do. And is worse than you can think. One of the most disturbing adaptations that have arised here in Chile are the ones that arose around the pseudo-militarized tendencies. Originally you could have easily distinguish them: Skinheads and punks. Being really separated one from the other in terms of looks, geographical location, and, what is more important, political orientation and ideologies; here in Chile they have mixed each other in very unbelievable ways.

First, We could witness the appeareance of the Nazi Punks. Strange, considering that punks are really far from the ultra-rightist orientation that Nazi people have (in fact, the very name National Socialists has nothing to do with a leftist ideology. It's very strange they called themselves like that). Nazi punks were the first strange experiment carried out here. they should be called the anti-punk punks.

Then, we could witness the appeareance of a new freak: The Anti-Nazi skinheads. we have to account the fact that in Europe, the strongest Neo-nazi movement are the skinheads, and that here in this country in the corner of the world you can find skinheads that, in theory, are against skinheads(as the neo-nazi movement they are) seems inverosimile to me. They would be someting like an Anti-themselves movement (regarding the name)

And this is the point we try to make here. Though it is a fairly well-known one: How can people that don't even know where are they standing be organizing such aberrant movements? How can you claim and fight for the purity of Chilean race, if we know there isn't a single chilean that hasn't got at least three different kinds of blood mixed in their body? What is to be a pure Chilean? And what makes us different from the rest of the peoples of Latin America? Wouldn't a pure Chilean be more like a pure Peruvian or Bolivian or Brazilian, or Argentinian? In such case, are they pure?

I really wonder how can you give your life for an ideology that hasn't got feet? and how can you kill someone else, fighting against that ideology? wasn't the lesson enough? How can you defend a pure chileanness speaking in German and hailing a long-dead deranged genocide, who would have most likely erased three quarters of the population of the world (including them, who belong to the pure chilean people)? On what grounds do they base their pureness and their belief on them as superior to Us, the ones that unfortunately are not as short and dark skinned as them? I would like to know. As it appeared in the newspaper/magazine/mainstream fanzine, In times of Hitler, chilean neonazis would be Popeye soap.
